Whatever your level of ability, Llyn Brenig Sailing Club offers a friendly environment in which to enjoy your sport.
Whether you’re a cruiser owner, have a dinghy or are a complete beginner wanting to try one of the Club’s boats, we’re here to help you enjoy yourself and improve your skills.
The 2024 Season will see sailing starting in March and organised racing starting in April.

Situated 365 metres / 1200 feet above sea level, Llyn Brenig covers 920 acres and is surrounded by the gently sloping hills of the Denbigh Moors.
Located on the shores of the lake, our Clubhouse offers members and guests a convenient place to get a hot drink and something to eat, and also to change before and after enjoying time on the water.
For those bringing family and friends, additional facilities are available nearby, thanks to Welsh Water, including a visitor centre, café, gift shop, adventure playground and cycle hire.
If it’s help you’re after, then our friendly and knowledgeable team can offer advice on everything from where to start in sailing, through essential kit requirements and even how to buy a boat.
We also offer training courses accredited by the Royal Yachting Association, while our On Board dinghy sailing scheme enables newcomers to gain a Level I or Level II certificate recognised throughout the United Kingdom.
Level I and Level II Powerboat training is also available,
No matter what level you sail at, safety is our main priority, and we offer First Aid training to all our members.
